My new hero after reading The story of my experiments with truth. The very thought of this individual leaves me with guilt about my integrity of thoughts, speech and action. A simple human being who had the power to change the mind of a society as a whole with his principles.

I have developed a curiosity for reading his books on vegetarianism and more about his struggle in South Africa. And of course to read “Let’s Kill Gandhi” to know more about the controversies involved in his assassination. On his 60^th death anniversary, I wonder what would have been the headlines on Jan 30, 1948. “Mahatma Gandhi assassinated” or “Hindu nationalist kills Mahatma Gandhi”. Whatever be the headlines, the pain would have certainly inflicted a lot of people.
